Friday, April 1, 2011: On behalf of the New Baltimore Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company we would like to congratulate the 11 Fauquier County Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Management (DFREM) graduates. After spending 18 weeks in Fauquier County’s first academy and more than 750 hours, the graduates obtained certifications such as Firefighter II, EMT-E (Emergency Medical Technician- Enhanced), and more. The new addition of personnel will better serve our growing community to provide the highest quality of fire and medical services. In addition, we would like to congratulate two of our NBVFRC members, Matthew Smith and Thomas McGrath on graduating the academy. Furthermore, we welcome DFREM Technicians Richard ‘Corey’ Butler and David Wood to our company.
