Engine 10, Ambulance 10-1 and Rescue 1 were dispatched to a MVA with entrapment at Lee Highway and Telephone Road. Chief 10 arrived on scene, north bound 29 with a mini-van into a semi-truck, the driver of the van was pinned. Engine 10 and the ambulance took care of initial stabilization of the vehicle and started patient care. Upon the arrival of Rescue 1 a combined effort was made to extricate the patients pinned lower extremities. The patient was transported to an awaiting helicopter and was air lifted to Fairfax ER.
