On Wednesday May 23rd 2007 around 0530 hours units were dispatched for a house fire at 510 Estate Avenue. Engine 1 and Tower 1 arrived on the scene and reported fire through the roof and requested a second alarm due to the volume of fire and exposures. Engine 1's crew advanced a hand line to the second floor with the Tower's crew conducting a primary search. Assistant Chief 10 arrived on scene and established command. Engine 19(Tommy) and Engine 10's crew joined company one on the second floor with an additional hand line for an aggressive fire attack. All occupants evacuated prior to the arrival of fire and EMS and were uninjured. As of August 2007 510 Estate Avenue was back under a new roof.
